Everything was good, so were pleasant views of the harbor and surrounding mountains. I had en suite room with central heating, an individual safe and pay TV.

All in all, it was right place for traveling to Siglufjordur. The location was great and gorgeous for walking around an only Icelandic museum. Also, the area was local. Our a double room was new-fashioned, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Having a shower, a hairdryer and bathrobes was a bonus.
Well, Wi-Fi was a bit slow.

great stay with beautiful views
The room was spacious with fine views over the water and mountains. The staff provided excellent service, especially Paula at the bar, who offered great drink suggestions.
The small isolated community sometimes feels cut off.

The location offered amazing views of the fjord and mountains, a visual delight. The room felt spacious and was beautifully decorated. The outdoor hot tub was perfect for unwinding after a long day. Staff were attentive. Breakfast had local pastries that were delicious and fresh. A minor issue was the limited shower facilities near the hot tub and sauna. Just one shower made it a bit awkward when you walked wet through the lobby. Some noise from guests around the hot tub could be heard at night, but it wasn't too disruptive with the windows closed. The beautiful setting and excellent service.

Staying in Siglufjörður was a treat! The hotel had a fantastic view of the charming harbour, and we loved exploring the quaint town. The kids enjoyed the relaxing hot tub, while the staff offered great service when we tried the local restaurant, perfect for family meals.
In my wife's opinion, the breakfast selection could be better for kids.
